You'll find them anywhere between giant festival stages, tiny pubs, secret house gigs, and your mum's place. This year's highlight was the closing set for brand-new Beyond Festival in Canberra, alongside musical greats Blue King Brown, Katie Noonan and Archie Roach. They're still coming down from that one.

 

Singer/keyboardist Caitlin O'Reilly and drummer Tim Evans took time off in 2015 to tour 9 months with American gypsy band The Underscore Orkestra. Now they're reunited with double bassist Mike Collins and some serious musical chops.Watch out for a big release in early 2016! Til then, the band will be giving back to the scene that got them started - playing shows in their hometown of Newcastle, Australia.

 

After 3 years, two singles and several celebratory national & international tours, Crazy Old Maurice's debut EP The Empty Glimmer landed in November 2014.
